The Miss UNG 2019 was held for the first time on 27th Sept 2019 at 4 pm at the Hyatt Regency Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
30 world finalists from all over the world participated in this beauty contest, outstanding ladies representing four continents and their respective countries and regions gathered together for a five-days training and evaluation process at Metropolitan Hotel Dubai. There were three segments of the evaluation in the grand final event, they were cheerful red cocktail dress show for the opening, the stunning national costume show and the elegant gown show for the grand finale. The winners from the three categories including Ms United Nations Global, Miss United Nations Global and Mrs United Nations Global were as well as The Ambassador of the UnitedNations Beauty Pageant were selected in this event.
Ms. Nicole and Ms. Wendy gave a speech on stage representing the International Organizing Committee, they introduced the background and mission of the event. The United Nations Global Pageants is a global non-profit organization with the mission and goals of nurturing international friendship, spreading love and peace. The organiser advocates that every lady with dreams should be encouraged to involve in and commit to social charity and public welfare, they encourage all new-age ladies to listen to themselves at any stage of their lives, the inner voice realizes it’s social value and blooms the charm of the women.
Miss Amina from Dubai won the champion for Ms United Nations Global Pageant (Ms category) for her outstanding performance on stage and during her interview session. Lara. Saleh from United Kingdom won the 1st runner-up and Niu Jiayue from China won the 2nd runner-up.
The Miss United Nations Global Pageants (Miss category) champion was won by He Keren from Taiwan, Yang Weiqin from China won the 1st runner-up, and Blessing Chinyere from Nigeria won the 2nd runner-up.
The Mrs United Nations category champion was won by Lin Yan from China, Milena.Khanzhova from Russia won the 1st runner-up, and Man Tharath from Cambodia won 2nd runner-up.
The representatives from South East Asia region comes from Philippines, Cambodia, Singapore and Malaysia have also achieved great results in this contest.
The Malaysian representative Tan Kai Li won the Best Costume award for her colourful Malaysian cultural wear. Singapore representatives Koh Kit Yee won the Goodwill award and Lisa Lee won the Best Vitality award. The Philippine representative Shiermie Baustita won Miss Charity award and the Cambodia representative Jenny Man Tharath won the second runner for Mrs United Nations category. They were assigned to participate this international contest by the Carat Comms Management, the International Committee of UNG (South East Asia) after gone through rounds of selections in their respective countries.
The VIP guests present at the International Grand Final were the representatives from the Philippines Embassy and the China Embassy in Dubai.
